Immediately end all direct and indirect taxpayer subsidies, tax loopholes, and royalty rollbacks for oil, gas, and coal corporations.
Enact strict "Polluters Pay" mandates to force fossil fuel companies to finance climate adaptation and environmental remediation.
Direct clean energy investments into frontline and historically marginalized communities. Grant local communities full legal standing and veto power over the siting of toxic infrastructure, pipelines, and petrochemical facilities.
Reclaim power generation from investor-owned utilities (IOUs) that prioritize shareholder dividends over grid reliability and affordability. Establish public energy utilities to guarantee affordable, democratic control over clean power.
Ensure full pension guarantees, wage protection, retraining programs, and priority hiring in green infrastructure for workers and communities affected by the transition away from fossil fuels.
